Yes, we are meeting in person, but we do strongly recommend everyone follow guidelines put out by the CDC and our Governor for minimizing possible transmission of “germs,” including coronavirus. We assume you know the risks and regulations, since they have been broadcast EVERYWHERE, and by joining us at our facility you accept that risk as your own personal responsibility. RVCC and it’s staff, management, and attendees are not responsible if you end up sick.*
*[Legal stuff…you know how it is. Lawyers gotta make a living, too. We have official disclaimers posted everywhere…]

If you are at-risk, not feeling well, or not comfortable joining us in person that’s okay! If you’re sick let us know, we will pray for you! You can always keep watching our services live-streamed on our YouTube channel at: www.youtube.com/user/RiverValleyLakeElmo if you feel you are “at risk.”
Sunday mornings we have one of our classrooms set aside with strict physical distancing and masks required. We have the YouTube stream playing so you can be here, see the service, but interact with as few others as possible. We also broadcast the audio on an FM micro-transmitter into our parking lot so you can stay in your car if you feel you need to join us that way.

No one is forcing anyone to do anything, and there is no condemnation! We love you and want to accommodate everyone we can at whatever level you feel necessary.

As usual, our sermon audio and video will be posted and available here on the website as soon as we get it edited and processed following the services, so you can continue to access that like always.

Keep up on (or get into) a daily Bible reading habit. Our 2-year program recently restarted, so now is as good a time as any to dive in with us! Each day’s reading is linked on our Facebook and Twitter pages every morning at 6am weekdays, and 6:30am on weekends. There are also printed copies of the whole program available in the foyer on the Info Table by the restrooms.
“For this reason I remind you to fan into flame the gift of God, which is in you through the laying on of my hands, 7 for God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.” —2 Timothy 1:6-7

We’ve had a tremendous response to the new series of Wednesday evening classes we are offering this fall! Adult classes, youth group, and an elementary children’s class all start at 6:30pm.

Pastor Karen’s children’s’ class meets in Room E5 (“the old youth room”) so they’ll have plenty of space for the kids to separate as needed.

C.R.E.W., our youth and young adult Group with Pastor Peter meets in the sanctuary. There is plenty of room to spread out as much as necessary.

Adult classes meet in whatever rooms are appropriate depending on the size of the group/class. If you haven’t made it yet, come this Wednesday and see why we’re excited about this “new fall season!”

John & Nancy V facilitate “Biblical Worldview: Foundational Truths” by Andrew Wommack in Room W1. It is video-based, with plenty of discussion. Click here for more information.

Starting this Wednesday @6:30pm is a group/study in 1 Peter led by Jim H.

Do you really believe that what you believe is really real? Focus on the Family’s The Truth Project® is a DVD-based small group study that practically and personally introduces viewers to the truth claims of God. This 13-week study will be facilitated by Tom and Carla H. starting October 28 @6:30pm.
