In order to promote active Biblical citizenship RVCC will start hosting a Restore Minnesota Community Action Team (CAT) 2nd & 4th Monday nights at 6:30pm to help answer questions like, “What is going on and what can we do?”.

Community Action Teams (CATs) operate on the following:

  • A firm acknowledgment of the truth “Jesus Christ is Lord.” (Philippians 2:11)
  • A clear understanding that Jesus instructs His followers to bring into their communities the life and culture of heaven. (Matthew 6:9-10; Philippians 3:20; 2 Corinthians 5:20; Ephesians 2:10)
  • A clear strategy from Jesus. (Matthew 28:18-20)
  • A model from which to implement the strategy.
  •

    Who are we?

  • Biblical Citizens impacting the culture in our communities in Minnesota and Wisconsin for future generations.
  • “Citizens of heaven” (Phil 3:20), who are “ambassadors to earth” (2 Cor 5:20), with a mandate to bring the culture of heaven into earth (Matt 6:10), and to “occupy” or “do business” until Jesus returns to earth (Luke 19:13).
  •

    What do we do?

  • Pray and follow the Holy Spirit’s leading
  • Learn from those who are working to bring back Judeo-Christian values into the family, church, community, education, business, media, and government.
  • Support each other as the Holy Spirit gives us our assignments to impact the River Valley for Jesus.
  •
We kicked off the group in June of 2022 with Dale Witherington, the Founder and Chief Steward of Restore Minnesota, sharing what God has taught him about impacting communities for Jesus. Dale’s mission field is the Minnesota State Capital and he has started multiple Community Action Teams in Minnesota and has been contacted by other states to start teams. As the Chief Steward of Restore Minnesota, Dale Witherington serves as a missionary, pastor, evangelist, disciple maker, Bible study leader and coach to elected officials, their families and staff at the State Capitol in St. Paul, MN, and as an educator to the body of Christ in understanding its role as a maker of disciples who are engaged in biblical citizenship.

Contact the church office with questions.
