One of our fall 2022 Wednesday night classes is Kingdom Constitution, taught by Mark K.
The Kingdom of Heaven has a constitution. It describes how the Kingdom works and what it looks like to live according to it. We call this The Sermon on the Mount. Nearly the entire New Testament is summed up in this message Jesus gave early in His ministry. He then spent three years showing us what it looks like in operation.
Much of the church today has grossly blurred the line between the Kingdom and the World by measuring spiritual maturity, power, and success by using the World’s set of values, rather than the Kingdom’s – this is deception. The Sermon on the Mount realigns all of that. Discover Jesus’ description of success by finding out what He said makes one “great in the Kingdom.”
